I picked up this rustic pine console table at a garage sale for $50 awhile back. I went back and forth on whether or not to paint it or leave it. Instead, I opted to stencil the top of it with a French Prayer; not that I speak French...
My name is Angela, I am an avid thrift shop, tag sale and flea market freak, I enjoy the hunt for junk equally as much as getting a bargain. I love all things cottage, vintage and rustic. My personal style would be salvage country chic meets wine country rustic. I have a knack for repurposing junk and making the ordinary beautiful, functional and unique.
I live amongst the vineyards with my handsome husband, two adorable little boys and one completely insane cat. Having just designed and built our home here in Sonoma County, I have a passion for design, collecting, scrapbooking, crafting and junking.
On a good day you will find me in my pajamas (which I will swear to you are so sweat pants) listening to Sinatra sipping a Shirley Temple on the rocks in a high ball glass crafting something fabulous.
Along with my undying entrepreneurial spirit, I suffer from short term memory loss because even though I swore I would never, ever again open another retail shop, I can't shake it and it is one of my many Dreams. So for now, I will settle for my grand opening of this little blog that could. I hope you enjoy this obsessive-compulsive journey with me.

Being Grateful
Be Gratefulfor good music, for dark chocolate, for a place to call home, for warm hugs, for quiet time, freedom to dream, for family time, for understanding souls, for kindred spirits, for true forgiveness, for sweet memories, for pink bubblegum, for silliness, for red shoes, for blue skies, for every breath, for sunshine on your face, for a child's laughter, for God's grace... -Bonnie Jensen
What a great idea! What does the prayer say?
